CR4ZY, fnatic secure Europe Minor spots
CR4ZY and fnatic have booked their spot at the Europe Minor after securing victories in the upper-bracket quarter-finals of the closed qualifier.
After taking down Tricked in the previous round, HEROIC set up a match with CR4ZY, who previously defeated Nordavind, with the winner earning a spot at the Europe Minor.
HEROIC and CR4ZY began their quarter-final matchup on Dust2, with Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač picking up a triple-kill in the opening pistol, as the European mixture cruised to a 6-2 lead. HEROIC hit back with numerous fast-paced executes to turn the half around, however, leading 9-6 at the halfway mark. After the switch, CR4ZY wreaked havoc on the Terrorist side, hitting match point swiftly. The Danes' resilience surfaced in the face of defeat, going on to secure five rounds in a row to force overtime, and eventually take the map 19-16.

Mirage followed, where CR4ZY got off to another great start, attaining a 7-1 lead on the offensive side. HEROIC eventually found their footing on the map after stealing a round back with only pistols purchased, claiming four of the next six rounds to pull the half back to a respectable 9-6 scoreline. CR4ZY kicked it up a gear on the defence, though, locking down the map 16-11 to level the series at one apiece.
Inferno played host to the decider, with the first half going down to the wire. An Rokas "EspiranTo" Milasauskas triple-kill in the final round of the half gave CR4ZY a narrow 8-7 advantage as the teams swap sides. HEROIC took the pistol and followed it up with an additional two rounds to take a 10-8 lead; however, with money in the bank, CR4ZY's firepower proved too much for the Danes, as they secured the map and booked their spot at the Europe Minor.

The second quarter-final of the day saw fnatic, who defeated Maknitude on day one of the closed qualifier, take on BIG, who edged out Sprout.
BIG looked to have got off to a flying start on Overpass with a 3-0 lead. However, as fnatic got rifles in hand, they put up 10 of the next 11 rounds, with the German side managing to claim the final round of the half at 10-5. The second half saw Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin, who dominated in the opening fifteen rounds, continue his commanding performance, closing out the map 16-10, with a 1.61 rating and 100 ADR.

Fatih "gob b" Dayik and his squad kicked off Nuke with four rounds in reply to fnatic's pistol round victory, but fell flat to Simon "twist" Eliasson's AWP going forward. The Swedish AWPer opened up consecutive rounds for fnatic as they took a 6-4 lead. BIG regained composure and control towards the end of the half, locking out the Terrorist side repeatedly to attain a 9-6 scoreline at the mid-way point. fnatic would not yield, however, as they displayed a defensive masterclass in the second half, conceding only a single round on their way to a 16-10 victory.
